What you need to know

Cap Taillat

Landlocked between Caps Lardier and Camarat, its shape is quite particular, it is a peninsula connected to the coast by a sandy isthmus. Cap Taillat, also called Cap Cartaya, is a natural border between La Croix-Valmer and Ramatuelle. This remarkable area, where flora and fauna are protected, divides the marine space into two bays: the bay of Briande (the Croix Valmer) and the bay of Bonporteau (Ramatuelle). Classified in 1993, this site of indescribable beauty is protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral.

The sand is fine, the rock a beige which is often associated with the Seychelles or other dream islands… You can’t help but fall in love with this magical place.

Whatever the wind, this cape allows you to find a sheltered place. The anchorage at Cap Taillat is very popular with boaters: the bay is splendid and wild, bordered by a superb rocky coast and covered with lush vegetation, the sea is pool blue and translucent.

The white sand and turquoise water make Cap Taillat an ideal place to practice snorkeling and underwater scootering and admire a rich marine fauna.

A paddle is also an option at your disposal to approach the beaches.

Trails also allow you to visit the interior of the massif where you can discover a private vineyard and a megalithic burial site (Dolmen de Briande).

On the way there or back, you can discover Cap Camarat, which is the easternmost of the three capes of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, classified under the 1930 law on landscapes since 1995, as well as the famous Pampelonne beach, a fine sandy beach of a few kilometres.

Finally, for those who like varied programs, it is possible to integrate a stage to discover the village of Saint-Tropez into the program of this day-charter.
